Today Hofstra will play host to a day long conference on a theme of enduring importance: friendship. Writers, performers and even Hofstra professors will address among other things: friendship in the age of social media, the power of creative friendship and how studying friendship in the past allows us to rethink its future.

Professor Lauren Kozol, who co-organized the Friendship Symposium along with Professor Simon Doubleday, and clarinetist Kinan Azmeh came on Hofstra’s Morning Wake Up Call to talk about what we can expect from the day’s festivities.
