One in five college women will experience and attempted or completed rape during their time at school, most likely during their first two years in college.
Worse yet, more than half of these women tell no one about their assault. Many fear they have no one to talk to, perhaps with good reason. Only 18% of reported assaults are prosecuted.
At least 85 universities nationwide are currently under federal investigation over concerns about how they handled sexual assault cases on campus.
