Young people are leaving Long Island at an alarming rate. Many cite unattainable housing options and the lack of jobs that meet salary expectations.
How can we get them to stay, while also attracting new talent? Christopher Niedt, the academic director of the National Center for Suburban Studies here at Hofstra University, has a few ideas.
